If your washing machine is overheating, this is likely to be a fault with the thermostat. The thermostat regulates the temperature of your appliance & is critical to the safe running of your machine.

Unfortunately we do not recommended that you try to repair/replace the thermostat yourself. This is really a job for a qualified repair engineer or plumber.
